Celebrate overalls day with overalls photos all over the web

getting close to 1st international overalls day, I am posting a photo from my recent visit to San Francisco visiting my dear friend Mary, our landlady, when we lived in SF for a year. Sometimes I may feel crazy doing all this about overalls ! but Mary supports me with full heart ! and I am also so grateful for people like Laury who is posting overalls photos every day now and Farmer Lee who is going to have everybody on his farm to wear overalls on November 20 and make a group photo on the web on November 20, so if a lot of blogging people, who love overalls, are going to put photos on from now on and especially on November 20 and tell why they love overalls ! it could be really fun and please take a look on my own flickr album as well as Laurys album and I also have an idea on making a book and I will come back to that !

R Lauren Fashion show in New York, worn out overalls the big hit!

well, now overalls are really on their way into the fashion world, and as you can read in New York Times some like it and some does not like it ! but now it should also be for men ! that would be fantastic ! and now I am really looking forward to go to San Francisco and take a look in the thrift stores for very fashionable overalls for a nice price !! and then to New York and show them ! great inspiration for the coming overalls day on November 20th

Revisiting Nancy in overalls – once discovered the comfort of overalls, hard to change that !

Do you remember my post back in 2007 about the overalls fan from New York, Nancy,in a fashion show, where the Cojo fashion guy tried to persuade Nancy to give up her beloved overalls, well, I felt sad for her ! and now, yesterday, there was a follow up to see how well Cojo was doing his overhaul with Nancy, and I am so happy to see Nancy back in her overalls ! and she says that she went back to her overalls almost immediately after the show in 2006 ! and if you see in the comments, peoples agree and even Cojo admits that you should wear what you want to wear ! so hurrae for that ! it could be fun to have Nancy joining us on overalls day !

“where did you get these overalls ? I love overalls” – remark on Upper Westside Manhattan

This morning I walked here on the Upper West side of Manhattan, 73rd street and a woman went by and asked me: “where did you get these overalls?” I said San Francisco and she said: she could not find them in New York. When she was a child, she had 6 brothers, they were poor and she got the used overalls from them and she just loved overalls !!

overalls work just fine on Broadway, NYC

I have just experienced my first day in New York city and I went to jazz brunch on Broadway and asked at the entrance if it was ok with my outfit, Big Smith overalls !!, and the doorman said : sure, just fine ! and I felt very comfortable all over Manhattan, so no problem. So conclusion: just wear overalls in New York with style and pride !
