New overalls gathering today, now in Denton, Texas !

March 22, 2010

I feel so privileged today to have been together with overalls people both at my conference ! and especially together with my blogger friends from, Liz and Charlie, living on a farm with bees, cats, dogs etc. and a lot of vegetables, here an hour from Denton, coming up despite snow covered roads, sharing thoughts on how to live a good simple frugal life whether it is in Norway or Texas ! and ahead of this great meeting, meeting in person is good !, my wife did the the Tater soup, inspired by the recipe from Liz’s grandmother , and here there is a photo of the Tromsø version of Tater soup ! so I just want to say Hurraee for knowing people around the world who love simple good healthy life in overalls ! love and peace !

Niels, We so enjoyed meeting you as well. The world grows smaller and smaller, doesn’t it? I think your friend from Canada was a bit envious of our overalls. We almost stopped at the farm store to buy him a pair of his very own (and then to run back to the hotel to give them to him). But, that wouldn’t have been very frugal…..especially if he didn’t take wearing overalls seriously! Blessings to you my friend. Safe travels back to your home. ~ Liz and Charlie
