happy loving life in overalls – not at all a new thing !:)

April 28, 2010

Hi again, well, some one may think overalls as relaxing clothing have only been popular in the hippie days in the seventies or in the early nineties and then again today ! but the other day on flickr, Roxanne, showed how her grandmother, Anna, all the way back in the 1920ties enjoyed her life in overalls just like today overalls fans are doing today, having fun in a down to earth way ! so thanks Roxanne for allowing me to show that the tradition for having a good life in overalls goes way back ! and welcome in the growing overalls commune if you cannot refrain from finding a pair of overalls for yourself 🙂

Neils, I will have to look for our pictures. I have younger pictures of MY grandmother and great uncle in overalls. These would have been taken around 1918-1919. They sported overalls as well. If I can find them, I will figure out a way to get the pictures to you. Good, comfortable clothing never goes out of style! Happy Wednesday in Texas~ Liz

Overalls .yes people like it also in the past it was good clothing to work in and in the little free time the have in those day’s it was great to wear them on vacations and free day’s.
I see in my town on the street more and more overalls, I hope overalls will be fashion in 2010 here in Holland, but it gets slow, I think the big jeans brands must give the go like Lee ,Levis and others just get them on the marked in the shops so people can get them easy, overalls makes you happy !
