back on blog-track – in the North

September 29, 2012

Some may have been wondering why I have not continued the story about our interrail journey I started a week ago. The reason is simple and can be illustrated by this photo with warm juice with lemon and camomile tea. That has been the diet for the last 4 days, where I have slept more than being awake, but finally I got rid of that cold, so today I could return to my usual Saturday morning treat in a local café, coffee, croissant and my small notebook for “what to do” lists. It was also good to get out in the fresh air, even if it is cold with newly fallen snow at the top of the mountains It is not only people up here who are used to cold weather. The flowers are still alive even if it is only about a few degrees celcius in the night. I’m back on track and I will continue to tell you about our journey in the coming days, stay tuned.

Glad to know you got out and enjoyed some coffee and croissant! But, snow already! I know you’re far north but it just feels way too early for snow to me. Ease back in and take good care of yourself! Happy Sunday!

thanks Laury, I’ll do my best to take it slowly, but steady ! snow is not down in the city, but up in the heights, 1000 m above sea, but, we can have and is supposed to have snow from late September till late May ! we are 400 km above the Arctic circle, so, sure we should expect snow now !:) and that’s ok. Have a nice Sunday as well, love niels
